We haven't seen a plow yet in my neighborhood. Figure 2+ feet. If this keeps up, I'm not getting to work on Monday.  Sad ;-)

Wife woke me up panicking because my dog didn't have a place to pee. So I cleared the patio & a path in the back yard. Lost a snow shovel & found it way under the back patio and crawled up to get it. Al least no spiders. Snowed about 2" while I was out there clearing off the patio & a trail for the dog.

Still looking at the front yard but haven't started.

Wife's Honda's completely buried under a drift.

Neighbor's from Jordon & does not like snow. He bought a snow blower and was gloating to everyone about how we'll be shoveling & he'll be done in 10 minutes.  Great neighbor, ehh?  He ran if 5 min and realized 1. The wind gusts cover him with a mist of the snow being blown, 2. He needs a snow suit 3. He needs face protection, and 4. It don't work that good on 5' drifts. Comical to watch from the front window with a cup of 'jo in my hand.

Karma's a beatch, isn't it.

Wow, that's a lot of snow. I wouldn't do a thing and you have a great excuse not to. Last month we got over ten inches of rain the end of December in two days . If it would have been snow it would have been 4-5 feet. Had bad flooding but the snow would have been worse. Take care when shoveling that much snow, tough on the ticker.

He gave up. All his cars are under a drift

VDOT called in all their plows at 1500 - nothing's moving.

We haven't seen a plow yet - 5-6' drifts. I just finished shoveling out the cars, but they can't move anywhere.

I'll be lucky to get out of my court by the work week

Good thing you still got power.

You got that right.

Although I do have a generator & a construction blast heater if it got real cold.

Back's to sore to get out there this morning, but I'll motivate myself somehow.  Still need to clear what I shoveled yesterday & start back clearing the cars.

The street's another story, but I did remove the snow plow's snow he piled up in front of my cars - into the street lol

Not sure when we'll be back at work.  Plow's came by the two streets outside my court - only one lane - no place else to put the snow.

With that much snow at one time they need to come in with a front loader and get a bunch of it out before plows can do any good. Any time a storm comes up the coast like that we usually get whacked but we didn't get anything!!!
