That first'n is a da m n d perty picture. Nothing better than a lay down for a guy who likes the thumps. That's some crazy clear water and be u T fish stranger.
I notice you have a spinning reel on a bottom seat. Was the depth deep?Only asking bc they get heavy to me.
What was the color today?

Thx for the pics. I miss fishing

Gotcha. Looks like fun for sure! Nada but high muddy here.
An older fella told me one time, that there are phases to a fisherman. First they just want to fish. Then, they want to catch fish. Then they want to catch a limit. THEN they want to catch a limit the way the want to catch it.
Mine'd be vertical with a long pole, with jigs I made start to finish, in the worst possible water and weather conditions imaginable.
Maybe I need a longer pole?
That's funny.

Glad you got out. Looking forward to dinner pics.

Now that's a nice stringer of fish. Wanted to go fishing today, but we had a terrible windstorm that came through. The wind was howling 25+ with gusts up to 60. That's just too much wind for me. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it will be at least another month before they even think of moving close to shore.

Looks like fun - congrats! You must know that creek with your eyes closed by now. The root ball on the oposite bank looks like it could be hiding a few.

Sun was shining and even got some bugs out of hiding but only topped out in the upper 40's here... it is getting there.
