I got to thank everyone for the help , support , tutorials , suggestion , reccomendations . Got my stuff from Robert and and a special package from Gary , who I can't thank enough . I tied my first jig tonight .Chartreuse/Orng 1/8oz sickle hook with Baitfish Chenille ,Chart Marabou w/blk/chart flash . REALLY like my vise ! Don't know how to post pictures . The tools sure are small in reality , look bigger in the videos I been watching . They sure do make it look easy on video and in pictures . Learned a couple things real quick tonight , cealing fans and Marabou don't play well together , there is a hook point on the bottom of the jig that won't let you forget it's there ! My eyes sure ain't what they use to be . Lighting is important . Got the rotary whip down pretty good , practiced with just a hook and regular sewing thread . Had some trouble with the bobbin , seems really tight , did stretch the legs some but still seems tight . Broke the thread couple times , but that is part of the learning . Still got a long way to go and a lot to learn , but I'm glad I jumped in and thankful for all of the folks who are JigCraft . Thanks Quint

Nice to hear Quint! Easiest thing todo is setup a photo bucket account, upload the pic. Then when you mouse over the pic , click on the img code, it will copy to the pc clipboard, then paste in your thread here.

Dang Quint, they all grow that size in Iowa?? Good looking fish!
That one was 18 1/4" . Have gotten a several 20" - 22" out of the big lake , Red Rock . Getting harder and harder to find them , since the repetative flooding we keep getting every spring . November 2010 we were getting daily limits 17" -19" out of the river . Beautiful cold water Black Crappie .
