I'm not so sure there is a so to say a proper way to install marabou, saying that I have installed it that way and it seems it is much easier to keep the jig flow more evenly and looking even.

If I were to change anything I would lay down a little more thread before starting the marabou. If the whip finish is done correctly there is no need for the glue. I could never keep the glue out of the marabou.

Palmering the marabou works for the style he was going for. Its not how I do it...

What do you mean "the style"?
What other style of marabou jigs are there?
Please forgive my ignorance..

Nice videos, one thing I like to do with my jigs is to tie the marabou in behind the jighead and make a hackle out of it ; leaving the hookshank bare. I then can put a trout worm or other crappie plastic on the hook to fish. Just something a little different to try that the fish haven't seen.
