I've been following this thread with interest as I ran across some all flash jigs a while back. Interested to hear comments but, yesterday I was messing around with an ebay special jig mold that has a couple issues. So is this too much flash?

Mold does not like sickle hooks but flashes without a hook, needs to have faces lapped, and hook slot opened up then will be OK

I have tied some 1/24oz. jigs with the krenik flash material and they caught fish very well in the ponds I have tried them in. these were threadneck jigs with gold and silver flash, and used red thread, I fish them the same way as my kiptails, under a small float with a crappie nibble on the hook usually. I had one day last year when that was the best jig we used that day. the kreinik material has the best properties of all the flash materials Iv'e tried, it's very flexible but not too much that it fouls around the hook all the time, and it handles better and is easier to tie on the jig than most the others.
