Believe it or not... plastic urine specimen (UNUSED!!!! LOL!) jars from a hospital supply house work perfect. They are just a tad smaller than the normal 2oz kind you buy at a "tackle/lure supply house" You normally can get a dozen for around $3.50

I was at a garage sale and ran across a spice rack that just happen to have 16 5-oz jars with lids. They were in the rack that have a swivel on the bottom that allowed it to be spun around. Asked how much they were selling it for and she said how about $1.oo. I told her it a SOLD!

Jo Ann Fabrics in East Indianapolis carries really nice 1.5 ounce stackable plastic containers. Formerly made by Whitney Designs, they are now made by a company called Household Essentials.

The container bases lock into their lids with a twist. List price is $0.99 per container.

This is my new favorite container for storing powder paint.

6.5-oz. Libbey Hoops Bowl

Downside is...it's made of glass. Though, the glass is relatively thick and seems durable to me.

Plus side is...easy for me to grab and hold in my hand comfortably. Has a wide mouth which is very handy for quick dipping. I hold a jig with a large hemostat, heat, then make a fast c-shaped swish through the powder. With fluffed powder, I get a nice thin coating with little clumping or buildup.

The 1.5-oz. containers I mentioned and used previously often resulted in clumping/buildup and some powder spillage. However, they are light, durable, stackable, and can lock into one another. Still, the dipping is most important to me so not enough pluses for those.

I purchase the hoops bowls at a local Meijer store here in West Indy.

I use some lil mason jars that I believe came from wal mart. Not sure how much they hold. Pictured here on left

But usually just use my fluid bed cups, idea taught by hunterr, on the left. The cups are perfect bc they take a minimum amt of paint to work. 3 tspns, whatever that is but know its less than a 1/4 of a 2 oz jar. That means your stock paint remains in factory jars untouched. No fighting em pulling in n out. They screw down. And with the test caps and Led Heads trusty micro mesh,

it's a dream come true. A small sterelite container will hold a bucket load of them away from the elements.
When I get more mason jars I'll post where I got them n the cost.

I stopped by the local KFC for lunch and they serve their side items in a container with lid that's perfect for powder paint. I asked to purchase a few and she said ten cents each. I took thirty ($3 worth) to put some new paints I recently received. Check them out and hope this helps.
