Ideas Help needed

Hi All,
My nephew is in the Air Force and lives in Williamsburg VA. I would like to give him a supply of jigs (freshwater) that would be appropriate for that area.

I have a decent starter kit together Bass, Bluegill and Crappie jigs but am wondering if there is a go to color or combo that really should be included.

The fun part of this, is he got married earlier this and of course the are expecting a baby in October. All the nieces have decided ge needs a "Man Shower" to celebrate. This "Man Shower" will be one activity at a family reunion next weekend and into the following week. Since my wife has assigned me the task of getting him a gift, I figured

A. He likes to fish.
B. he is gonna need a break this fall!
C. I aint buying baby stuff!
D. I enjoy tying jigs.

Suggestions will be appreciated, tied and my interpretations presented to this young serviceman.

Yes, but he is fishing lakes on the base and says the river has been good as well. Unfortunately, I have no idea what he is talking about.

On the east coast black/chart/black, black/black/chart, red/yellow/white, red/white/yellow, orange/fire-tiger/chart, baby blue/fire-tiger/chart black/ purple/ chart and all one colors of black, chart, pink, white

fire-tiger is a combo color of orange and yellow. Crazy Angler carries it.

These are a few good colors to have.

the red/yellow/white combos are ones i did not have but tied a half dozen. Everything else, I have some on my racks.
