Looking good. I over do mine sometimes i think with too much fur in the tail. Keep tying them sparse, as you have them, and they get a little better action i think. That is not a color combo i use though. Gimme green or orange! White and silver never hurts either. If they work in your lake though....................... bingo!

Nice, you will never be disappointed with that color combo. I've been tying a bunch of these myself the last few weeks. I had good success with them 10- 15 years ago but quit using them because they would tangle up badly if you put many in a compartment together. I've been putting 3-4 in a 2x3 bag so they won't tangle too bad. Is there a better way to store them without tangling, I'd love to hear it. I think these in various sizes along with the duck jigs will be my go to baits this year along with some blade baits.

That IS the most overlooked combo ever. No dulled down mixtures for paint. The perfect blue (which I can never find a chenille to match) body. And a thick white tail. That combo will catch sacalait in ANY water clarity here.
An old timers fav he schooled me in bf he passed. If you dunno what to use, use it he told me.
Awesome work man. I'm gon tie some now.

That's some Ultra thread... Kingfisher blue!

I really like Crazy Angler's "shimmering blue"..... I do very well with pink head, that chenille, white tail!

Thanks a bunch, bud.
