My tiny work space is getting way too crowded and well a ridiculous mess. I have decided I need to simplify and organize my materials and Powder paint stuff so I can spend less time shuffling through boxes looking for things I need, losing tools and things the moment I set them down...ect and more time actually tying. This brings me to my main focus of this post. I pretty much have my other materials under control but I'm beginning to have Feathers coming out of my ears and I don't know the best way to organize them. Right now I have them separated in bags and piled in a big box. If any of y'all could share with me what methods of Feather storage or organization works for you or have any tips on getting organized in general I would greatly appreciate it.

Organized ? Thats funny:D

:P:icon14: I know right! I was just trying to fit too much stuff in one small area. Got rid of a table and a desk. It opened it back up again and I can breath :) As far as organizing I went to the dollar store and bought some clear plastic shoeboxes and some good ziplock bags. I'm a lot happier now than before.

Here is what I just did.... had all my stuff in milk crates, but went to Wal Mart and got some of these... at least my stuff looks a little neater...

I kinda thought that milk crate look was rather "Avant Guard"

Squeaky and Pepop I like y'all setups. I have a few of those bigger plastic drawer units and one with several small drawers. I need to get some more with the Big drawers. I did go and buy some clear plastic shoe boxes with lids today for a buck a piece at d-store. They work great for storing bags of feathers, bulk chenille and Flash. They stack good too. Got to spend some time this evening piddlin with all my stuff and it is starting to come together. I did take the time to tie a few too. :D:icon14: Ill have to post a pic when its all rounded round.

I'm just missing a little oven to cure... But it's coming soon! Also.. The tying area will be moved into its own room.. The inside of my barn is 30 x 40.... I will be partitioning off a 10 x 16 room.... That I will be putting an A/C unit in.. Hopefully I can get it done by the fall.. It's too dang hot in Texas to be out in that barn in the summer.... A man cave needs some comfort!! Lol
