So what I have here are 3 jig ideas...not sure how they'll work...but i will soon find out since the weekend is only 2 days away hahaha.

the Black and white bodied jigs have a white Power Bait floating trout worm tied onto the head (they are very twitchy when touched/moved). Hopefully that'll trigger the fish to bite..i don't know, but like i said..hopefully.

Than the Green bodied/black buck tail jig has a Chartreuse trout worm tied onto the shank of the hook. I've read a couple of fishermen "tip" their jigs sometimes...so i was hoping that will give to look of a worm tipped jig.

And the 4th jig is just a color creation i threw together.

Great ideas and tyes. You never know what the fish will like until you try.... Catching fish on your own tyes is great - more awesome when you catch them on your own pattern.

I would guess that the bottom protruding PB "legs" will assist in keeping the jigs above bottom snags. I'm wondering tho if the "floating" property of the PB will cause the jig to flip upside down in use?

Good thought and work.

Might consider using some tied-in beading wire to form 'barbs' for attaching your trout worms to the jig. Makes the worms 'replaceable'.

I actually use trout worms as hair jig trailers, what you do is tie your jigs and then thread a worm on the hook and let the tail extend a little behind the jig, it adds action and scent without having to tie it in the jig itself although I love the look and idea.
