Had about 100 1/16oz ball heads that I had poured in a size 4 hook. I painted 25 of them neon pink. I spent a day looking thur three sites trying to find a pattern that I liked that I didn't have. Had all the regular ones you all know them you have a box or two of them like me.

Finally on page 43 or 45 of this site Crappie Happy had one that I had the material for and turned out to look super. Question what patterns are you tying that are not standard that have worked and become a favorite. I have all pink, pink/black/pink, pink/ chartreuse/ pink, pink/silver /pink, pink/chartreuse/black.

Come on help the old Redman out I guess it's me and I have a mental block. That 's what happens when you get to be a old codger.

Thanks but I still have 13 Pink heads to do with a pattern of some sort. I must still have 18 of that pattern and it works well.

Redman, if you are fishing clear water try this one. Pink/shimmering blue (CA)/chart - The only pic I can find is one that I tied with a hackle tail but marabou or rabbits works very well.

Zac I will try a few of each thanks for the suggestions. Never thought of white or blue.

Stump Hunter I have to order some supplies from Robert and will that to get some of that shimmering blue chenille. Have my eye on it for a while. Want to do some of the Christmas Tree jigs also will do some painting tomorrow morning. No rest for the wicked.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like I will be painting a bunch more heads. Thought that I was done tying for the Fall season. With all this persistent heat it keeps me inside most of the day. Nothing to do but read listen to the radio and tie jigs.

hookup Dang wish that we had Smallies down here. That is some fun fishing. When son was small I would take him out and let him catch small mouth. They would wear out his arms. He thought that he was king of the lake when he was on the smallies. Lot of good memories with him fishing them.

Zac you are right need to do some of Jungle Jim's Flash Ducks with a pink head. Now back to tying.

Well I tied all day except painting a few more heads. Will post pictures tomorrow. Right now the blue tail and pinkish red chenille with the neon pink head is one that has struck my fancy.

Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!
