For those of you that have read some of the mis-adventures of my wife. About a month ago she got frustrated with her cell phone. The lady at Best Buy assured her that the I Phone Apple 6 S plus phone was super easy to learn and use. Well on her best day she can complicate a one-car parade. Three times she has driven back to Best Buy to get help with her new Iphone. I made her buy a book for it. No help there as she prefers to work it out for herself. I explain that at our age we don't have lots of time left. My reward for that was one of those withering looks that only woman can manage.

So along with a few small gifts for my perplexed wife. I surprised her with an IPad and Iwatch. She looks at me when she opened and says. Aren't I having enough trouble with just the phone. I try to explain its all same operating system. Another withering look. These next few months ( years ? ) could be extremely humorous for myself. That is if I manage to survive all the LOOKS I will be getting. :P

Got my wife an tablet (Samsung one) last Christmas and finally last month she went & started taking classes.

God help me if I try helping her learn anything electronic - she frustrates herself figuring it out and never does.

Odd how a complete stranger can teach her, but her own husband gets yelled at.

I can sympathize with your wife as I am not exactly a tech savvy dude even at 44 years of age.  Got my first computer (Macbook) in 2008, and yeah, it was a learning experience.  Still is, but you made the right choice with Apple stuff.  Good man!

On my second machine now (MBPr/2015) and even have a friggin' iPhone6 and kinda like it.  First smartphone for me (yes, really), but knowing the Mac OS in general really helps and everything is working great.  She'll get it, give her time.

The old 2008?  Still works and the old Leopard OS isn't even limping yet.  That's solid.  Impossible to upgrade, wifi out of date, but just won't die so it takes printer duties via ancient wire.

Wife's onto me for those two words. Yes Dear means I see your lips moving, I don't hear a thing your saying & its goes in one ear & out the other,
