Standing by in Port... secured to the dock waiting to see what this crazy zig-zagging Debby is going to do! My marine forecast is calling for seas up to 27' where I was a couple of days ago... I am fat and Happy sitting here at the dock.... I may even get a chance to do some real Captain stuff... like taking a nap!!!! Don't have my tying gear with me...so....off to watch a Movie... and check the inside of my eyelids for cracks!
I hope this thing gets out of here soon.... I am supposed to get off and head up to Yankee-land and the Big Apple next Sunday.... I have a bad feeling my crew change is going to be delayed....Just hope not too long.

P.S. Jim Cantore from the weather channel...otherwise known as the Angel of Death is in Pensacola now..... wherever he goes storms follow.... DONT GO TO FLORIDA!! LOL

We have had mostly light misty rain all day .. but just as I got started on this it is raining a little harder ... we really need it but can do with out the wind & etc. We have a good "Storm Tide" in all week and its is at its highest today ... A couple of more days and we might know a little more .... They have a mind of their own and they deserve the name "her" and not "him" acanes. Now down past the "Big Bend" they have had some rough weather today (East Side of the Eye) ...
The Surf is "Up" and no place to be ..

Headin East ! One of my favorite Fishin Holes is getting more than its share of high tide - rain and the wind (Which is not all that much) Mouth of the Appalachicola River ... Now east they are geting the weather.

Stayed dry here in south Louisiana... Seas still a little rough.. But... Still tied to the dock!!! Heading home early tomorrow.. One more 28 day hitch under my belt...whew!
