Gary, (Hunter7711), and I are having a great time. Today we fished Grenada Lake and wound up with 34 keeper crappie. They have to measure over 12 inches at Grenada to keep them. We were spider rigging double minnow rigs and using some hooks that I had dressed up like jigs. They call these hooks "knats".

Very nice slabs along with some killer looking hand tied hooks. I'm glad you had a great day on the water. That lake has some monster slabs, hope you pop a couple.

Sounds like a good time. 12" minimum size... holly crap!!! That big fish in his left must be 16" at least?

Like the dressed hooks as well, those should help get some attention.

Great catch Scott and Gary. That is a board full of nice slab crappie. Looks like you have made Gary's trip to Mississippi one to remember! Congrats to both of you. The knats look great too.

Here's our catch from Enid Lake today. We only had 9 keepers but they were good ones. We'll be back at Grenada tomorrow, then back home.

Im glad yall are getting that Time and hope Mr. G is having a blast. Should be Peach shine and fried fish time bout now.
Beautiful fish. They're must be a shortage of black sacs up there. What depth did those come from?
I think that 12" thing only works in large enclosed fisheries that have pressure for that species, but I thank too much. Y'all Are lucky fellas and enjoy yalls reports.

Be safe.

Are you implying something Roger? Lol My boat is 7 ft wide and I think Gary and I take up 6 1/2 ft of it. Lol No really, it works out pretty good. I have an Add-A-Seat in my front pedestal hole for side by side seating.

Thanks Heath, Grenada has to be the best crappie lake in the country. The crappie in my avatar came from there. She was 2 lb 12 oz. I saw one that was caught the first week of April in the Crappie Masters tourney that weighed 3 lb 10 oz.
