First off , thanks CrappieHappy . Just want to thank everyone for welcoming me aboard . I hale from a small rural town , grew up on the river , and learned the true values of life there , and still live by them today . Fishing is my passion , the river is my home . I enjoy Walleye , Crappie and Pan fishing . Since I have been here looking and reading , I am awed by the craftsmanship and knowledge that I have seen from all of you , and soon hope to be crafting jigs of my own to share with all . I'm in the process of getting set up to go forth with this -which I believe will be a addiction !!! So I'm open to all input , for my knowledge of jig tying is nill . BIGG HOWDY from East Texas. Yes I also WAS from Iowa and sure do miss those Walleyes. River or lake they are good to eat. Grew up in in the Humboldt area and then moved to the Arnolds Park, Spirit Lake Area. Now I am a Texan. Listen to these folks you will be a good tier in no time flat.
