I found some of these spinners at the local bait shop in #1 and #3 blade sizes for 3 for $1.80. I used a 1/16 pillhead on a #2 blue Aberdeen to keep the bait straight with the added weight, just won't work with a jig hook. I kept the rig simple, bunny tail with bone pink krystal flash chenille. Will have to see how these move in the water soon. View attachment 8View attachment 9

Like the idea. Used something similar to those (but with plastic trailers) on a trip to Vermont one time and they were deadly on bass and pike.

You make some incredible lures, those are just awesome!!!! The colors are different too, kind of contrasting but in a good way, nicely done!!!!

Tim Holschlag from the Smallmouth Alliance has great luck with a similar spinnerbait fishing for monster smallies.

I used to fish spinners like those on a fly rod. Would swing the spinner across the current. Used those made by Joe's Flies. Great memories.

Very nice ties too.

Many, many years ago I used these with a plain hook with a minnow under a float. The minnow swimming caused the blade to flash. I caught plenty of bass and crappie with that rig.
