Higher tides?

Shoreline fishing in the Islands I've noticed an increase of at least a foot in peak highs over the years. One of my favorite fishing spots required a bypass reroute inland of the high tide submerged coastal road. Here's a pic from the Florida Keys this year, NOT a storm related effect.

Those cheaper houses 2 blocks from the coast just went up in price due to now being classified as waterfront view! I guess that is what happens though when we put valuable things so close to nature that we can not control.
