All my girls are here for the weekend and having a big time. Went to the local lake early, because they still like to sleep in, and walked the bank and threw a jig. Thought I would share a few pics......

Wow, I guess that flood rain posted by RAD months ago didn't benefit your area - is your res just local drainage fed?

That was 2 years ago Hawn....We went from the wettest year in history 2010,to the 2 driest years on record..but still in the middle of a 10 years drought..

Some levels for lakes near Mel and I...

WHITE RIVER Water stained; 80–84 degrees; 25.65' low.
SPENCE 84.85' low. No report available.
MACKENZIE Water stained; 79–83 degrees; 88.22' low.
O.H. IVIE Water stained; 79–85 degrees; 41.55' low.

Yes Hawnjig, this particular reservoir is feed by two creeks, Valley Creek and Quarry Creek, before they enter the Colorado River.

Oh jeez, the flood pics are 2 years old? The memory is still vivid in my mind...

Got confused cuz the Colorado River I know of runs thru...Colorado. Now I find there's one in Texas too.

Are the feeder creeks dry? Water levels down 80'+ seem extreme. Colorado reservoirs are snow melt sourced, and I read that snowpack from this past winter was exceptionally thin.
