Stopped by Academy yesterday after a Dr. Appt & just walked down the plastic's aisle and several BG colors caught my eye. Then looking at my assortment of Slab Bandits I decided I need to see if I can duplicate some of the better producer's. Here's the 1st attempt...Electric Chicken

I'll add body & tail this evening. I think the head got pretty close.

Nice paint on those jigs. I do the same thing, match the paint to the plastics or tying materials.

Can you go into detail on the paint job and products.....killing me. Maybe in the paintshop forum! Trying to find out the specific glitter and how you are specifically putting that application on the jigs.

Plate, at the top of page 7 of the Paint Recipe Book is the "Green Glitz" I used to cover the head.

only all I had was Leaf Green & Sky White (both are CC color's) instead of BB Green & Pearl. The pink is just Pro Tec Fl. Neon Pink that I brush tapped on the belly

I hear ya!! Mixing up the colors in the Jacquards put a dent in the box, I've only got 18 left and may have to get more!!!!!!!!!

I finally found some. Our local Medicine Chest pharmacy/med supply has 3 fl oz specimen jars for $.25 each. I'm getting 10 on Monday. Now I can get rid of those Dollar Tree cups with the snap-on lids. They leak!!

'ems reverse chickens! EC is pank on top. BUT i like it reversed a lot of the time.
