We caught a lot of crappie and maybe a fourth of those were legal to keep, over 12 inches. We really lucked out this year and had good light winds for fishing, although the early spring had the crappie spawning early. We went to the weigh in for the first day of the Crappie Masters tourney yesterday and saw some huge fish. They had three fish weighed over 3 lbs. there would have been lots more but the bigger females have already laid. I caught a 2 lb. 3 oz. and a 1 lb. 15 oz. today.

I just made it back home. The wind had gotten up today so we didn't fish. The two guys in the cabin next to us got into some pigs yesterday. They found them in 3 fow and caught them on jigs tipped with minnows. These seven fish in a five gallon bucket weighed 17 lbs. 11 oz.
