Hope everyone has a great one...

FYI.."Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare. They are consumed in twelve minutes. Half-times take twelve minutes. This is not coincidence." – Erma Bombeck

Rad :That is a native word, a formal end to a conversation. Its meaning is more of I will talk with you at a later time. We seem to think that time is concentric circles that it is more a spiral nothing ever ends. There for there is really never a end so no good bye only later in time. I like to say its the five united tribes way of saying "see you later have a good day" as it is common to all five.

Redman - I was waiting for you to break into song from the Lion King. :P Joking aside, i agree with it... it all goes around and comes back at some point wether it bites you in the back side or lets the sun shine warm your shoulders.

This has me wondering..... Thanksgiving is a truly American holiday so does it have the same traditions across the coutry? Turkey, dressing, gravy, green bean casserole, slaw, devil eggs, pecan pie...... and all the other food that makes us grow roots into the couch for a few hours. And of course, the need for a few beverages shortly there after to smooth out the family induced headache. :P

Our member out in Hawaii, your thanksgiving HAS to be a bit different. I know we have some members from up north in Canada too - do you celebrate turkey day too?
