Haha well thanks guys! A few bucks closer to buying my kayak and a bottle of very nice whiskey ended up in my possession today. Nice, uneventful evening at home with my family..... can't ask for much more. Very thankful.

Un-eventful is usually pretty good once you start getting old like the rest of us. :D Happy b-day!

.........can't wait to see the kayak! Have a brand or style in mind?

The goal is to have it by winter... looking at an Ascend FS-10. I think it will be perfect for fly fishing small water and getting me and some gear back into some duck spots.

I looked at the Accent also but didn't want to drive two hours to Bass Pro so I bought the Perception Sport. I have my yak rigged to the gills.:icon14:

I can run the trolling motor or take it off, only takes 1 minute. Yes I get carried away building things
