While tying my swap #7 jigs I noticed the bluegill larder was lacking a little. Anyway hackle was lying on bench along with some small jig heads. While searching for another material ( a common problem in my messy mancave ) I came across some cactus midge chenille.
Took the real short fedders from the bottom of neck patch and used as tails. Used the midge chenille as body and the hackle fedders as tails. Except for the black and pink one no solid black hackle. Even tied a neck hackle on one due to left over piece. This was result of my flinging some gill getters together. # 12 crane swivel for size comparison.
Which one should I tie a bunch of in your opinion ?
