Here it is, the Grizzly Redman!!! I decided to try this out on a suggestion from Redman about using grizzly hackle wings on a buck tail jig. I have to admit that I like this look and now I have another jig to try when I hit the water later on this week. This is a 3/32oz walleye head with a size #1 hook, I used a little gray and natural buck tail as an underbody and then tied in black buck tail over top along with some black pearl flash and finished it off with the grizzly hackle sides.

Your right Toady we did know Moses way back when. Nice guy but he was no navigator took 40 years to make a ten day trip. He had no sense of direction he just wandered aimlessly. Some of these guys just need a little direction. We have been there and done that. They are just starting there journey. I prefer to let them explore and experiment and then I will suggest. It will be up to them to take it or not. I will admit that with all the new material their jigs are better looking than some we put out. Ours worked and so will theirs. They will never have the fishing that we had. There were fewer fisherman, less pressure, more fish, and less restrictions than today. There are still a lot of good fishing to be done if one knows where to go and has the right technique.

I am trying to turn them in the right direction and know you are too. The problem is they all learn at a different rate. Some learn fast and some learn slower. The good part is that we will get them all there in the end.
