View attachment 2View attachment 3Had a Good afternoon yesterday ... The ones I kept in the Picture is a limit of Speckled Trout (5 over 15".. Thru back 3 more that were keepers) Landed a total of 62 Trout .. a lot in the 14" range ... 1 Redfish (limit) over 18" (this one was a little over 20" and released another one over 18") had 5 other smaller Reds ... These were all caught in less than 2 hours (I was busy) and were on my good Ol Scoot A Jig .. Plastic Shrimp Tail .. White & Chartreuse did the job. .. Earlier I spent some time Bass fishin and landed 4 keeper size(1.5# size) with one throw back (Released all of them) along with 1 Striper (undersize) 1 4# Muddfish (Bowfin) and 1 2# Jack (E.C. Pickerel all of these xecpt 2 bass were on my little 1/4 oz "Finesse" Spinner Bait .. the other 2 on my 1/4# Black Buzz Bait.
Don't have many 1/2 days like that ... This Fall has really been a great one for Speckled Trout & Redfish. Wish I could get out more often ...

I can only wish to fish . Had a couple days off and it's poured rain like a cow peeing on a flat rock . Sure glad you let us share your success . Well done.

Thanks for all the Hi 5's guys.
In regards to the Bait Caster ... about all I use .. the one in the picture is what I used with the spinner bait .. I have a couple of special 6' Fiberglass rods (regular old time yellow fiber glass will post a pic later) that I made just for Spec .. Reds .. fishin .. about all that gets chunked on them are the Scoot A Jig ... Keep an open face Semi Ultra Lite handy for the real small lures ... My Son in law was still "Nawing" on them yesterday. He had the pleasure of cleaning & makin a meal or more out of them.
Hope I can get out again this PM ... weather man callin for a 40% chance for rain ... don't mind gettin a little damp but sure hate for all my "mess" to get wet and have to clean up. We need the rain bad .. water is really to clear .. makes you have to change some of your set fishin ways .... I guess Toad F is gettin all the rain.

:)
