Great Day All Around

All in all today was a pretty great day. I was catching fish when the sun came up and I was catching fish when it went down. In the time in between I enjoyed a very nice church service and lunch with the family then stopped by the farm for a minute and found a small patch of morels.

The winged bluegill bugs I tied did well for me today. They liked the one without the rubber legs. I don't know how many i caught this morning but these are the ones I kept.

Normally the morel season would be coming to an end around this time but due to the odd weather its just now starting to rock and roll. lots more to be picked this week.

Caught several more bluegill and small crappie this evening.
Going to have to tie a few more of these bugs. I lost the rubber legged one to a tree monster and the other one is getting pretty chewed up.
