Spent last night on some of the cookies and deserts..Wife did most of it... I spent all evening on 20 dozen Spritz cookies.

Christmas eve we usually do a Mexican theme,,,no different this year.Today Ive got the tamales " in process"pork is slow backing getting ready to be pulled..later this evening(after a big family outing at the bowling alley) me and Mrs Rad will spear the masa and commence to rolling them.

The pasole is popping , getting ready to get the meat and other ingredients added for a long slow cook.. House sure smells good right now.

Christmas day will be a traditional one,for a change....Big ole spiral ham and all the fixings...But Ill save that for Tues am..

What y'all got on the stove for the holidays ?

Lunch at the in-laws tomorrow and then dinner at my folks on Christmas day so we don't do much cooking food. Deserts on the other hand...

Made some traditional family cookies - Springerlies - 2 weeks ago that got frozen till tomorrow.
Wife made a big batch of Chex Mix last week - specialty blend with honey mustard and jalapeno sourdough pretzel nuggets.
Been making chocolate covered everything for the past week.
Cutout sugar cookies got decorated this afternoon.
Choc. chip cookies will be made first thing in the morning.
