Got the Blues Tonight

I know your thinking last one looks rather plain,but It will always have a place in box...My ALL TIME PB crappie came on that jig...For anyone that hasnt seen it Id be happy to show it again ..........

Nice blues, those sickles look like they have an additional bend right above the barb. Maybe it's just me.

The gold ones are from Grousefly,,Paul Mullins..They are a "heavy wire" as he calls them..It does look to be a little different bend,but I love it !!!

Yea buddy , those will do it . We make them with all kinds of bling bling but that is mostly for the art in it . Good old standard ties are and will forever be FISH GETTERS . Looking good on the blue .

Thanks guy's...You can usually tell when Im tying for my own box,not alot of fancy stuff,and I do fish many unpainted heads...

What color chenille is that last one?

New Age "Goldstone" I have several tans I use but that one hase more flash than most.

Whats funny is 2 years later almost to the day,my buddy lands the new record from the same spot..Book has it @ 2.99 # but we call it 3.....

Those are some slabs, the 2.99 probably coughed up a shad while bringing it in. I'd call it a 3.

Beautiful white crappie, congrats on them. Those jigs look great and the last jig pictured is one I use also. Pink has not been good this year on the lakes I fish but blue has taken it's place in my box this fall.

Have a few in my box that are similar to the 2nd ones but never tried one blue/tan. Have to remember and try one of those.

Nice ties - and some :bigfish: ! Never seen a crappie close to that size in my hand.... What were the length on those?
