Got my powder order + surprise

Got my powder order in from Columbia Coatings today and the jars are too tall so got a 3 oz jar out and it's almost full and the container is still 1/3 full

They were supposed to send me 2 oz. of everything but the Candy Teal Translucent they messed up and sent me 4 oz. containers.

Here's the 3 oz jar and their container still 1/3 full

If it works as good as the teal did no problem!!!! The only color that didn't come in was the Hunter Green - from the discussion on the dragon fly powder color and that it's brighter than the pic shown I'm wondering if this hunter green is close

You have to do a couple of extra clicks to get to it, and you can get all the sample kits in 2 oz. if you want too. I got the Dormant kit of what was supposed to be 2oz. and added the raspberry and 1/2 lb of the candy trans teal which is a color I've posted before.

The short clear jar is for 3 oz. an almost full there container was still a 1/3 full!! The entire order ran $48.47 with shipping.

Nice snag! I reloaded about two months ago with core colors by the pound. They do have a good selection of colors.

I couldn't have gotten this much powder for that cost with ProTec. Thanks to the guys here that put me on to all the other companies with powder, I was skeptical at first cause I was used to the curing times but they're pretty much the same.

How good does the columbia stuff work in a fluid bed compared to the pro-tec stuff?

I didn't have any problem although you have to turn up the air a little that's about it. I won't get the dormant colors again as it's been double the work. coat with the color then the high gloss clear brings out the color. I'll got with their Translucent Candy colors as the Teal and Raspberry work great!!!!!!!!!
