New molds arrived yesterday afternoon.

Cast some today from the first mold (Chub head)

JCH-5-A
Cast really well - at least the 3 smaller sizes, I don't have hooks for the bigger ones yet. The 1/32 will need a minor mod to accept #6 hooks, but the #8 sickle works for now.

Gonna be a few days before I get to cast the second mold

Got the 1220*
really looking forward to the 1/48 oz. Will cast some as is but feel I need to pin the mold for eyes.

Will post some pics in the near future but starting time for work is getting too close for comfort. I'm scheduled for 36 hours over the next 3 days so jigs gotta wait. But I'm thinking that around 1am, I'll be painting a few of the chub heads.

You'll get there! I thought about having my mold pinned for eyes but it's just as easy to cut the little eye bump off smooth, powder paint then stick the 3d eyes on

Statem, Yes. those are good prices and usually they even discount shipping. Great selection as well. Locally, I can find 4 different molds all round heads and a couple spinner bait molds. Prices are Do-It MFR suggested retail price.

Fatman, I've done that on my pony head a few times and really prefer the recess for the eyes, easier placement and makes for IMO a more durable eye, not that it matters a whole lot as I am from the school of thought that says "if you aint getting snags, you aint fishin where the fish are!" and 2#-4# test usually means a lost jig.
