I decided to get busy today and paint some pearl pepper heads. I ended up doing 200, painted cured and sorted in groups of 10. 1/16 and 1/8 oz. with #4 and #2 hooks. Guess a good pouring session will be next since these were the last of the bare heads.

Nice, I use pearl pepper quite a bit myself. I like to paint eyes on mine, lately acrylic paint pens that I get at Hobby Lobby. One pen will paint thousands of eyes. Rarely do I ever fish a blind jig. I'm one who believes eyes make a difference when it comes to catching fish.

Couldn't find the pack with the jigs last night I'll take a photo tonight, as I'm gonna do some painting. They came out a really dark grayish color!!!

Here's a crappy close up.....

Picture looks great to me - shows the pearl micro glitter and the pepper. Looks like nice thin coats and clean work. :icon14: That mix also looks like it is a thinned out pearl color (can see the raw lead through it) with main ingredient being clear......... bet that would look really good over top of base colors too.

This isn't clear. The color actually has silver in it. It may look like you can see the lead showing through but it isn't. It looks like three stages. Silver base then pepper mixed in the pearl clear on top. That's why I said its a crappy picture.
I'll try to get a good picture once I dig out the good camera.

I've only had it for a couple of months I got it from TJ's. This is dipped right into the jar which is totally stired up. I don't have any clear in it and even in a fluid bed it comes out the same.
