Got a new Vein powder paint

Here's Bronze Vein under my Candy Blue/Candy Lime Green mix

& Bronze Vein under Candy Blue (sorry about the "spider web" look)

Bronze Vein under Candy Lime Green

Bronze Vein under Candy Orange

and Bronze Vein under Candy Purple

Under the candy color's I don't see any difference between Bronze Vein & Gold Vein. I should be getting some Silver Vein soon, that may have a different look. I'm still preferring the orange candy & Lime Candy over the Vein PP, but that's just me.

Silver Vein was mailed today I think. Should have it by Thurs.

Great paint jobs!!!! Great custom looks.

Silver vein doesn't separate as well as the copper or gold but will give a slightly diff look under the candy.

I must have a bad batch of Copper Vein! I've tried several times and get little or no separation. Now the Bronze Vein in the photo's above separates just as good as my Gold Vein. I'm anxious to see what I can do with the Silver Vein.

I got a couple oz from Bob's Jigs. I'm getting the Silver Vein from another supplier. The Gold Vein I got from Rosey's.

Did a few dippings with rosey?s gold and silver vain and psycho lime green - it might be me doing something wrong, applying too much or so, but I was a bit disappointed as I found the result too dark for my personal taste. Had hoped that the green would be UV-active ending me up with some sort of motoroil effect - not the case either.

So instead of dipping, I use them and some copper vein I already had for tapping tops over pearlescent white. You can choose how far the black crinkle reaches down the skull by applying more or less powder to the top of the head. Bonus: a nice, natural metallic glance over the cheeks - I love the effect.
