Well later this morning I have to have my Lab put down. The back legs are just gone and I'm not going to let her suffer.
Gonna be a sad day

Doug My heart goes out to you my friend. It is hard to let a pal go. Know that that day will come to my house. The only thing that I know that will help is to go and get another dog. Get a young pup that you can train and spoil.

Thanks guys but she'll be my last one. Worst part is going to be tonight when I have to tell my grand daughter.

Man I understand. Had to one down last summer that grew up with my kids. It was a tough deal!

Sorry to hear FM !!!! Thats one of the hardest things Ive had to do in the past... Got a 13 yo right now that seems to be going downhill pretty quick..

Fm, so sorry to hear. It is very hard to do, but sometimes required. We put our dog down about 6 months ago due to blindness. It was hard for me, but hardest for our 5 year old. My sympathies to you.
As said by many..... in a similar situation where my 12 year old Basset isn't getting any younger. I know that will be a very bad day that will be coming soon. My sympathy goes out to you.

for anyone with older dogs and joint problems try congointen/glucosomine (vet recommened it and it helped at the start of the problem, although it does get expensive.
