Sure hate to here that . Probably one of the hardest things a guy will ever have to do . But there comes a time now and then when a friend has to do the unthinkable in the name of mercy . My heart goes out to ya Pal .

Doug My heart goes out to you my friend. It is hard to let a pal go. Know that that day will come to my house. The only thing that I know that will help is to go and get another dog. Get a young pup that you can train and spoil.

Fm, so sorry to hear. It is very hard to do, but sometimes required. We put our dog down about 6 months ago due to blindness. It was hard for me, but hardest for our 5 year old. My sympathies to you.

As said by many..... in a similar situation where my 12 year old Basset isn't getting any younger. I know that will be a very bad day that will be coming soon. My sympathy goes out to you.

for anyone with older dogs and joint problems try congointen/glucosomine (vet recommened it and it helped at the start of the problem, although it does get expensive.
