Might not work well at all, but I'll try it.

Has anyone used it before, particularly, on leather subjected to water? Baseball glove experience counts. ;)

Lots of baseball glove experience.Makes it very soft and pliable.Good stuff.Have to work the leather after putting it on for best results, like openning and closing the glove.

Work it work it work it in. Then work it some more. Roll your strips, tie it tight. Let it sit. Roll it the opposite way. Tie it tight and let it sit.
There's some on the market now that you can work in and then put it in the oven. My sons glove was done so much it was literally like an extension to the veins in his hand, it closed an opened so easily, but still had form for a ball.
Looking forward to doing it again next season.

Ya know I've used WD 40 as a scent seem to work . I don't see why that wouldn't have the same effect and treat your leather too . May Just Have a multi tasking solution there.

Thanks for your replies Everyone. :)

My plan is to use the oil after I've fished a leather jig. I'll let the jig dry, then apply the oil. The leather I'm using is so soft and pliable that I'd like to test/fish with a jig or two without it at first.

Of course, this initial plan goes out the window if the leather becomes unmanageable. Then, I'll apply the oil first. ;)
