:beat-up:

After many years of tying and fishing. The organizing bug has finally bit me. After all this time of buying and collecting the overall volume is daunting to say the least. But I am taking it slow and sure. I can now see the top of my tying desk.

Anyway Pepop is kinda responsible for this. I sorted my jigs out using his idea and then labeled each box. No more fumbling thru six or seven containers to replace a jig I just lost during hot bite.

If only I stopped there. I looked at my tying station and thought. I should do the same here. So I think too big a job maybe just sort my fedders and hooks. Next thing I know I am moving everything and sorting the crap out of everything. After about a week I am only a third done.

I found stuff I never knew I had. Whats left is in assorted piles and it needs to be put in proper containers and labeled. Anyway after I am finally done. I hope I keep it neat but being sloppy for almost 7 decades is going to be a hard habit to break.

I thought you were stuck in the garage or shed/barn or something....... you must have either got a heater out there or some very warm long underwear for XMas! I get on organizing whims every now and then and they NEVER stick much after the 2nd or 3rd use of the area.

Nice work, always is fun to go through your stockpile and see what you are low on. Bet you found something that needs restocked. :)

PP, great space there! I love organization.... I just have a hard time getting there! BTW, what is the colored material in the bottom of your jig boxes? That really shows what's in there better than the white foam I use.

Pepop- that stuff was bought at Wal Mart. It comes in about eight different colors. Has adhesive on one side after white backing is removed. I trimmed to 6" X 4" to put in each individual box.

Russ - using ice shanty heater and electrical heater to keep old bones from freezing. Yesterday I had it up to a nice balmy 34 degrees.

From the front view, it looks to be about 1/8" thick, and it's actually foam?
