I finally got a chance to play around with some new stuff. The first one is about the brightest chartreuse i have seen! I only thought they were bright when i had them in the shop. I took them out in the sunlight and had to put on some shades! I used a chartreuse dye instead of a colorant for these. Dyes are crystal clear (2nd pic) but they do bleed so no laminates.

Also got caney creek FL blue X2 colorant. Stuff is pretty cool and does what Jason says it does. I only used 10 drops of this as opposed to the 25 drops i would use from other blues. It has a good strong color but still very transparent. The holo glitter really shines in the light on these!

Lastly is the first shot from the mold i got from Toad. Pretty cool lil mold. Ha i definitely could have tied chenille on twice as many instead of shooting the plastic! BUT i cooked in a HEAVY dose of scent with the plastic so thats a plus.

I do like the X2 colorants . Got to wait till I use up the other stuff though . I see you got the jelly jig mold hot and going . Makes a great bait don't it . The more you work with it the more tricks you can pull especially with the new colorant .

Would you be able to tie on an underbody on the jig (say, some kind of flash material) and shoot the jelly jig body over the top of it? That could be kinda fun to play with. Cool baits!

Zac I shot some over rainbow tinsel and some over peacock axel flash. The plastic definitely magnifies the flash.
