Foolin round with Mylar jigs

The above were tied with Stump's mylar style. The orangish one I added a little flash in the tail The orange ones are 1/8 oz the other two colors are 1/16 oz. All the heads were cast in my mold mod to accept the 3d eyes.



Posted this video of these in underwater. Mylar does not move much but the flash given off with any jigging motion is sure to get a fishes attention.

By the way best thing I ever did was to buy a small used aquarium at a flea market. The 10 gallon is all I need to see how my ties look to the fish. All my lure ideas get aquarium dunked to see if it is worth pursuing.

Thanks for the vid - clearly shows how stiff the strands are in "action".

Original Flashabou, on the other hand, has much more noticeable shimmy, if not constrained by adjacent materials.

Looks good....I had good luck this spring with mylar tied with standard thread collar also! Crazy Angler has a new color!!!
