Well I lost my mind again . I just took the insane Idea of a powder fluid bed used for glitter coating . Takes a lot more air pressure but glitter will float something like powder . Looks real purty with the air flowing through it too . Lets you do part or a whole and at different angles with a pretty good defined line . Somebody give her a shot and see if you like it .

glitter coating........ you are using straight up glitter in the fluid bed? What are you using to 'stick' it on what you are painting?

X2 - I've tried using glitter in a fluid bed and ran a Tetra Whisper 60 dual nozzle with both running into the 2" bed and it didn't work all that good. Now I'm assuming your talking about one for the size of the lead spoons your doing??? You'd be talking a 4" bed at least and would have to have an air valve on each side of the bed. If you used an air compressor you'd need a good air valve so you don't blow the glitter all over your work area.!!!!LOL

I put seal coat on the head ,let it drip off . Airbrush fine glitter not the .o16 .040 size stuff . I also dipped the eye in hot wax first . Then dipped . It's a four inch fluid bed . Afterwards I dipped it in a two part epoxy . going over to the shop post pics of a couple slabs so you can see it better . Just another one of my Nutty Ideas . Making the same thing day in and day out is driving me to drink .------ Mostly Pepsi.

That did come out well!! I did try clear powder with glitter and the protec glitter colors in a fluid bed and that doesn't work, it seems I either get all paint of all glitter and it is usually in one spot, it is so erratic I gave up on it. I'll have to try pure glitter over a light coat of epoxy and see wht happens.

Small jaw use fine glitter . I did that to see if I can come up with something other than decals . I have found something that is absolutely smashing . Pic to come .
FM this glitter is just CS plain air brush paint glitter straight not mixed . I'm a long way from perfecting this but it is not bad at this point . I need the air to diffuse through the glitter better just like powder . But you will love the next evolution of insanity when I post again tonight .

View attachment 2View attachment 3EVOLUTION ! Here it tis the freakin possibilities are endless . This is a water slide tattoo . Does not run when epoxy is applied and has no edges to peal or feel when applied to a convex surface .
