Do any of you live where good quality flint stone is readily available .
I need to work on one of my other talents . Need to knapp some arrow heads and deer antler knives . Maybe do some kind of trade for a couple of good rocks .

B. Talk to some of the guys in Kansas. I know there is a large deposits in the center part of the state. I have several small pieces of flint that you could knapp. If you want to make some bird points.

Find lots of shards in the fields after the plow comes through, but don't find too many pieces large enough to make anything with. I'll keep my eye out and stash any i find away as future currency at the ToadFrog store. ;)

I'll check with a buddy of mine at work who does that stuff, don't know if he orders his or finds it. Let you know what I find out.

Thanks guys I'm looking for a piece 4to 6 '' 1/2" or bigger thick . That would let me make a couple skinning knives and several hunting points .
Attica is dead on . My forms of currency are rather unorthodox. Never throw noth'in away ya can never tell .
