First trip this year

Got out fishing this morning - Here's the pond

They just stocked it with trout so fishing was off but the two bass I got came on a wool/satin tie

The jigs with wiggle eyes stayed on even with all the casts - but the Suffix line does NOT!!!! impress me. Very wirey, although it does cast well it likes to wrap on itself. Gonna give it one more try.

Had some really big bass swim right by me but they didn't even turn to the jig.

Still had a great time. Walked around and a little girl with her parents had lost the little jig she was using and she was ahead in the count against her brother. I checked hit and it was just a 1/32 with hackle tips for a body. Pulled 10 of them out of my bag and gave em to the kids. Made their day and mine too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's more of it but I was trying to get going it was HOT today!!!!!!! It's 74 right now!!!!!!!!! Gonna try again tommorrow but the wife I think has plans for me to go the commissary with her!!!!!!!!
