Looking at the picture now, I feel I could've used a lot more material.

I like it. Like the material, sometimes less is more. The fish will tell you how good it is.

I use wool for a filler body? Do you have some? I prefer real sheep but use another vendor online. My personal opinion is you are on right path with that amount of satin but need the body underneath. Put that in water and you will see it gets real slender. Only my humble opinion.

One of my most productive jigs is tyed with thread, rubber legs/tail, and some Krystalflash..
