First Rabbit Jigg

Tie my First rabbit jig getting ready for the pink salmon .. I needed to put some purple hackle with the pink but did not have any .. I also want to do all the hackle with schlappen
as always feedback welcome !!

Where you located?
I too am gearing up for the pinks. There are already a few showing up. Not normally this early! Reports from Neah bay are saying you can't even get a second downrigger down before the first has a pink on it. Plus, much bigger pinks this year.

Is that a light wire Sickle hook & if so is it strong enuf to handle anadromous salmonids?

Your tying skills look polished, but those complicated layered colors...doesn't plain white or black work?

I live in Tacoma Washington !!! This is a practice tie it will never see water

This is a practice Jig it will never see water!! This was easy to tie the rabbit is pink with purple tips I got it to tie A steelhead jig call popsicle.. Pink salmon jigs Are all pink 99% of the time .. I have ordered some salmon jigs to fish with I also need to do a couple of little things to it to make it fishable ..
