I kept thinking about the saddles I dyed the evening before and how nice they turned out and with thoughts swarming my head it's hard to sleep. Fortunately, since I'm retired I can sleep anytime,no set schedule. I took a nap about 10am and I'm still going. Those heads are done with the new illusion paints that are out . They look better on a bass jig than a crappie jig.

James - Your talent has no bounds. But your early awakenings must be leading to a speech impediment. Wat else would explain you starting to stutter on your posts. LOL

Pup,I really like the pine squirrel skins I've been picking up at Feathercraft. I got a black one today to represent a leech or something. I guess all the caffeine is leading to the stuttering,Papa. It happens from time to time. I got a couple more ideas with this squirrel. It's cut thin enough that it makes a nice body and tail. Crosscut squirrel doesn't exist, yet. Now if it ever stops raining long enough for the rivers to go down I'd check and see what the smallies think of them. I have a couple boxes full right now.
