First fishing with the grand daughter and report on the new 33

Finally got our first fishing trip in for this summer!!! Also a report on the new redesigned Zebco 33. The wife and I got her a Sterns neo-prene life jacket for this year instead of the old bulky style ones

Changed the line on it and put Trilene XL 6 lb. test and it worked great!!!!!!! There was no jamming up in the cone and the line cast like a rocket!! The changes to the cap and inside line pick up spindle are very smooth and it's going to make the 33 a good reel to have again if they don't change it again.

Thanks - all the afternoon storms last week kept us from going after her swimming lessons so hopefully the weather man is wrong for the middle of this week and we'll take off and go every day!!

Yeah Stump she grew a lot!!!!! My daughter uses a clothing attic for used cloths and trades her's in on good ones that will fit her. Only thing she gets new new is her school uniforms and her shoes and sneakers and those are bad enough!!!!!!!LOL but the Grandma's and Grandpa's take care of those for the start of the year.

This is our 3rd season - I want her to catch a really big one and there are some 4 1/2 - 5 lb bass in the pond. That will really set her off. Got a couple of weeks left before she goes home.
