Well I tried it, so give me your honest opinion as to what I need to do and what I need to correct. These are 1/16oz collarless walleye heads, I cut the collar and then melted it off in my precision melter. The hook is a #4 and the feathers are from a sample bag of duck feathers I got from a friend, I don't know enough to do a thread neck so I tried it with chenille to see how it goes first. The both jigs are basically the same, duck feathers, ghost pearl flash, and black and white variegated chenille, the difference is that on the fist jig I used more chenille as I wanted it to be streamlined so I went further down the hook shank and that didn't look too bad so on the second one I let a little more feather out by not going as far down the hook shank, now I just need for you guys to help me out and maybe I'll do some of the flash duck types with 1/32 or 1/48 oz heads with #6 and #8 hooks.
