Here are the first 4 stripers from New Jersey.All about 30" and probably 15 to 20 pounds.Next weekend will claim some more,lol.Except Doc,he'll be taking pictures and netting.lol.

I did'nt catch these.My brother in law took my siter there for the weekend.She was sea sick the whole time,lol.They caught them trolling Manns Stretch 25's.The only fish they got into all weekend.They were caught Sunday at about 3:00 pm.

Wow, thats a cooler full of meat! How do they taste and whats the best way to prepare?

I like them myself with a side of scaled skin made crispy in olive oil,then turned until just until it starts to flake.Salt,pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon.That's the best way that I've found.Tastewise,sorta like a light cod.
