Second has a lot less feather, my FnF buddy thinks that is more the ticket. These are the first duckie ties I've done any and all suggestions, good or bad, are welcome. I thrive on constructive criticism.

I like the first set you showed...... good colors and the shape resemble shad. Those look like very large and full duck flank feathers, i rarely ever have any in my bag that look that good. I usually use smaller tips of the feather, but i also have a lot that are curled or twisted and am forced to only use the tip.

Here is a tutorial, just leave out the swivel and blade for the 'deadly duck' -: Deadly Duo

Those are killers. Tying them in at the sides give them a shad profile while tying them in at the top and bottom gives them a shiner or minnow profile. Either way they work great. I tie them in sizes from #12 to a #2 and have caught more on them than all my other styles combined. If a fish will eat a minnow they will eat these.

Thanks for the link AtticaFish. I took a stab at a Deadly Duo this evening.

I'm not to sure about the Razzleberry! Skeptical at best, but I'll try it out on the 12th. Blue, Pink and Chartreuse to go yet.
