I'm worn and beaten and the only cure is a bayou "ditch" that holds FAT slabs shallow in an early southerly winter.
I love this place. Last time I got to fish it, I didn't do good great numbers wise but the fish have shoulders. Would rather have 15 of them than 25 and 1/2 of my local river fish. Maybeeee even 30. Lately at least… so those numbers are pending the re election…of yalls president.
I've got a 5 hr window of opportunity Sat morn. I have 2 handmade jigs to sink as of now and this to overcome tomor after work to get more done

Will be a lot of uncured eyeless jig heads with unkempt feathers surgically probing lay-downs, cement pylons, wooden pylons, drainage culverts, and the ever do sheisty beaver dam s this sat morn.
Happy Happy Happy
I prob just set myself up for failure.
I'll post prior pics to this place if I fail and pretend they are recent.
Excuse the rant, just excited, which I don't get very often.
