Got to watch a couple of episodes of Duck dynasty this week....Some interesting folks in your hometown !!

Ha yep the beards are real! I see 'em driving around town with their war pain on. Phil was a good QB for LA Tech. He was actually first string QB over Terry Bradshaw! Ole Terry road the bench!

As for the show, its a real eye opener to see all the "Production" that has gone into it. All the things the producers have brought in to film... Like a double R! After witnessing the scripts makes me not like watching some of the shows i use to watch... AxeMen, Pawnstars, Swamp People... All fake

Was pretty impressed with Phil,sounds like a good strong Christian man,heard he even does some motivational speaking around the country....Jase seems like a good guy too.

Have not seen that show yet. Have to agree that these people are pushed into doing stuff that they wouldn't do without the camera on em. Still enjoy a few of the shows. These after shows they have started running after the season ends are a little to much.

The wife got to know the family back in the 1970's when they first started to sell calls and understand that they bought a tractor form her family business. Phil and her did exchange recipes for cooking ducks as she is known here as a fine cook. Phil and Si grew up on Caddo Lake across from us on the Louisiana side up above Oil City and cut there teeth Duck hunting here. We have a bunch of the the Duck Commander VHS tapes on duck hunting and how to call ducks. Phil seems the same as he is in the TV show as he is in the tapes. Believe that he keeps in the back ground because he is just that honest and don't want to be fake. The rest want to be Rock Stars.
