These are what I came up with today, I wanted to try the pheasant tail nymph but on a 1/32oz head with a #6 hook it wasn't going to look right so I did a combination tie. This is, as mentioned above, a 1/32oz jig with a #6 hook, it starts with a natural buck tail tail, I then used pheasant tail fibers and wrapped them around the hook shank and used gold holo tinsel as ribbing, then I tied in some silicone legs and used dark olive seal dubbing over top for the upper body to finish. The next jig is just playing around trying to make a hair jig like a skirted bass jig without the skirt material. It is a 1/16oz jig natural buck tail and gold flash for the tail, copper black chenille for the body, and a single pheasant feather for the collar. The pheasant feather has long fibers that are kind of soft without being webby so I figured it would make the perfect "skirt", after it was done it looked kind of strange but it the water it looks pretty cool now I just have to see what the fish say.
